I began making these bags because I wanted something that called to me and was aesthetically pleasing, but couldn't find something in stores. I didn't want draw string closures either, because I felt they would bend my cards over time.

Each of the styles I currently carry, tarot card size and oracle card size, were created by me. It was only supposed to be a few for myself, friends and family, but I discovered I had a passion for sewing them! Making clothing doesn't really do much for me, but finding great fabric and then going through the process of making the various patterns and subsequently sewing them in to the bags has been extremely enjoyable!

I spend a lot of time looking for prints that catch my eye and have a fantastical or occult twist to them. Browsing through fabric stores has turned in the thrill of the hunt! People often ask me where I find my fabrics, and the short story is: everywhere! I travel to different areas and visit fabric stores, as well as scour the deep reaches of the internet in order to bring interesting, and sometimes exclusive, prints to my clients.

My greatest joy is when people come up to me at fairs or while I'm sewing the buttons on to my creations in public and they get excited. It's the most gratifying thing as an artist to have people adore what you've chosen and created.
